Trust

What exactly is "to trust"? In a world filled with anxiety, stress, and addictions (the numbing agents) we obviously don't trust.

I've been thinking a lot about trust these days. I guess, I can say I trust some people, myself and certain situations. Mostly those that all fall in the predictable category. What we don't trust is the "unknown" so we try to create that "unknown" into something we do know. We work so hard to build the future so that it doesn't surprise us and we end up creating anxiety and stress along with it. It basically comes down to not being able to trust because we fear the unknown. And when the future comes, charged with stress, anxiety, and inevitably with surprises ..we don't notice it because we're working hard building the next thing, the next future. A never ending cycle...

Live in the moment. Live in peace. We have it in us to take a deep breath and release that fear and trust that what's to come is the right thing at that given time. Nothing is forever... a second is an instant, the smallest unit that builds a minute, that builds an hour, that builds a day, a week, a month.. a year... years.

Trust that by living in the moment, you'll make the correct decision when you're in a state of peace. From that inner peace all decisions will be there for you. It only takes that inner peace and trust on yourself. Trust in the moment.

It's difficult to remember but its crucial to remember to stay in the moment in a state of peace. It will take you where it needs to take it. But its okay to get lost, getting lost in the fear is normal and okay. It's a habit, we've been doing it for years. It just takes an instant to remember to trust. Breath, peace, trust.

Pretty Blue For Spring

I recently picked up this Essie nail polish in the color "Hide & Go Chic". As soon as I put it on, I noticed it was a great color for Spring. I love it! What colors do you like for Spring? //Peace&LotsOfLove//

e.l.f Studio in NYC

I was pleasantly surprised to see the e.l.f Studio during my visit to NYC  this past February [that's not me in the photograph, I accidentally captured a woman coming out of the store, hehe!]. It's located in the Greenwich Village neighborhood. I usually pick up my e.l.f. cosmetics at my local Target which usually has limited products. The NYC studio appears to have all the e.l.f. products. The look inside is very high end and chic, yet they still have the affordable prices we love :) I only captured the outside of the store so if you're interested in viewing more, checkout their website: http://www.eyeslipsface.com/retailstore.

I picked up these three products: 1) The HD Blush in the color superstar 2) The Daily Moisture Stick
3) The Stipple Brush Travel Set

I really like the Superstar color of the HD Blush. It gives a really nice flush to the cheeks. I haven't used the brushes but so far I can say is that they're really soft. The case is very convenient for storing as well as for travel. I'm really enjoying the moisture stick, it leaves the skin very soft. Although I have just begun using it, i feel that my skin appears smoother immediately after use.

I had so much fun in NYC, the e.l.f. Studio visit was an added bonus to my visit. I will write a blog about my trip soon :). //Peace&LotsOfLove//
